John Redwood MP was delighted to welcome his parliamentary colleague Andrew Griffith MP to the Wokingham Conservatives Lunch Club on Friday 24 February.
Members enjoyed a delicious lunch at Sonning Golf Club before hearing the Member for Arundel and South Downs speak and later take questions.
Andrew Griffith MP is Economic Secretary to the Treasury and Lunch Club members were keen to ask him about low taxation, more support for the self-employed and how to encourage more growth of our own food in the UK.
John Redwood MP also spoke and updated members on his activities in Westminster. He recently met with Michael Gove, the Secretary of State for Levelling up, to discuss the issue of housing targets for Wokingham.
