Councillor Pauline Jorgensen - executive member for Highways - is delighted to list the roads in the borough due for remedial work in October.
Phase 2 of the 2020/2021 Highways programme is planned to start on 19th October 2020.
Pauline said: "We are aiming to deliver these schemes, subject to permits being approved by WBC StreetWorks.
"I recognise that a lot of our roads are nearing the end of their life and in response we have more than doubled highways maintenance spending and we are planning to spend £16.8m over the period 2020-2023.
"We have also taken advantage of two tranches of Government pothole funding to make council taxpayers money go further.
"These roads are some of the worst and they have been identified as requiring surface removal and relaying called ‘Plane and inlay’ in the trade!
"I receive many calls and emails about Highways issues from residents, Conservative councillors and activists and I work hard to respond and implement action however possible. It's great that residents know that their Conservative representatives are all about action and not just words.
"Roads are being re-surfaced right across the borough and I'm sure road users will appreciate the improvements."
