The Results of the Shinfield By-election are in, and Conservative Candidate Jackie Rance has been elected back onto Wokingham borough council following a narrow loss in the May all out Elections.
Jackie kept her promises to residents of Shinfield and kept working with and for residents, dealing with issues and campaigning on what mattered most to Shinfield residents. It was this hard work that has been rewarded with a decisive win in the election on December 5th securing almost 50% of the votes cast and gaining more than double the Lib Dem & Labour total votes combined.
This was a team effort though, helped by a brilliant candidate and Jackie would like to thank the hundreds of individuals who came and helped her out on the campaign.
Results:
Jackie Rance (Conservative): 49%
Labour: 24.8%
Lib Dem: 21.5%
Green: 4.7%
